BabyTalk

The joy of being a Grandparent is having that special time. Snapshots in their precious life. Watching and enjoying fun times together. I find the hardest thing is to understand the language of baby talk. My grandson knows what he is saying, but big people are just not listening with the right ear.

I find the church has to have the right ear to the people it is ministering to. To be the church that does not dilute the Word, but uses the language that people understand. Caring enough, just like a parents or grandparents that you want to understand the needs and wants. At the same time growing the young in Christ to move from baby talk to where all can understand.

“Listen, O Israel! The Lord is our God, the Lord alone. And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength. And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.”

Deuteronomy 6:4-9

Love the People, like God Loves Us.
